Passiflora x belotii fiel mir dieses Jahr schon früh in der Saison auf, weil die Pflanze besonders viele Knospen angesetzt hat. Nicht nur mehr als andere Passis, sondern auch mehr als in anderen Jahren. Und nun, gegen Ende dieses wie immer viel zu kurzen Sommers, steht eindeutig fest, dass Passiflora x belotii die blühfreudigste unter meinen Passionsblumen ist. Heute hat sie sage und schreibe vier(!) Blüten gleichzeitig geöffnet. Auf dem Foto sehen sie wie hineinmontiert aus. Mag sein, dass es Passiflora-Enthusiasten gibt, die schon weit mehr Blüten an ihren Passis gesehen haben, aber für meine sind vier Blüten an einem Tag rekordverdächtig. Ihre erste Blüte öffnete Passiflora x belotii bei mir in diesem Jahr im Juli.

Passiflora x belotii attracted my attention early in this season, as the plant set lots of buds. hat. Not only more buds than other Passis, but also more than in other years. And now, as it goes towards the end of this much too short summer (as always…), it is evident: Passiflora x belotii is the most floriferous of my Passion Flowers. Today, it even opened four (!) flowers on one day. On the picture, the flowers look like assembled. Of course, some Passiflora enthusiasts may have seen many more flowers opening on the same day. But for my plants, four flowers a day are record-breaking. My Passiflora x belotii opened its first flower this year in July.
